Kennedy says ‘This is a sunset clause in all but name’

Commenting on the resolution of the Parliamentary controversy over terrorism, Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy said:

‘This is a sunset clause in all but name.  Late this afternoon the Liberal Democrats extracted the key concessions from the government which returned control of this legislation from the government to Parliament. 
On the outstanding issue of principal over the balance of probability regarding evidence, the Liberal Democrats maintain our objections and will return to this issue under the new timetable and procedures the Government has now conceded.’
