Charles Kennedy MP has launched a campaign for Highlanders to tell Transport Scotland just what the Highlands – London sleeper services mean to them.
People in his constituency can submit their views to the Rail 2014 Consultation either by writing to Mr Kennedy or by going to his website at
http://tiny.cc/yoursleeper and filling in the short form there.
Mr Kennedy said:
“It’s vital that all of us tell the Scottish Government why we need the sleepers.
“The Coalition has offered to pay half the cost of upgrading the rolling stock, so we have to pressure the SNP to put aside politics, take up the offer and secure the future of the sleeper.”
