Hello and welcome to my website.

This site's main purpose is as a point of contact and information for my constituents. On this site you can find out how to contact me, and keep up to date with my activities in Parliament.

My first and most abiding responsibility is to the people of Ross, Skye and Lochaber; it has been my great good fortune to represent this seat, and its predecessors, for nearly twenty-five years. I've always been keenly aware of the need for local issues to find a Westminster voice, and, as an inhabitant of the Westminster village myself, just how disconnected Parliament can get from the priorities of local people. I hope that this site can go some way to bridging that gap, giving people in our communities the chance to get in touch quicker than they could before.

MPs can't solve every problem; but we do work for you, and it's my hope you'll use this site to get in touch with me about the things that concern you and your community.
